Cát Bà Island

This was a breezy 4 or so hours from Hanoi on a bus/ferry combination to this awesome small island, which was a nice break from the pushy city of Hanoi. The hostel was amazing, although a little far out of town, but an easy walk. There wasn't a whole lot to do other than eat, motorbike around and do some tours if you were willing to be a little cold the entire time.

So I was here for longer than I probably needed to be, but met some amazing people while I was there and was happy to have gone for so long, even extending my stay and making impulse decisions to drive back to Hanoi on the back of friends bike!

Did a tour of Cat Ba Island where there was kayaking, good food, boating around, jumping in the ocean, Monkey Island and villages on the water.

Rented a motorbike and went around the island (Military fort, secret tunnels, Cat Ba National Park and so much more to explore this place)
